An evening of dancing and food and drink sampling highlights a downtown fundraiser.
Footloose & Fancy Feast VI is a partnership involving danceScape and the Burlington Downtown Business Association bringing a showcase of dancing and culinary arts to the community. This year’s theme is The Golden Age of Hollywood. It takes place Thursday, Nov. 14, 2013 from 6-9 p.m., at danceScape Studio, 2077 Pine St.
The evening is in support of the danceScape endowment fund for the Burlington Community Foundation. Robert Tang and Beverley Cayton-Tang, danceScape’s owners, are former three-time Canadian and two-time North American Amateur Standard Dance Champions. Attendees at the sixth annual event will witness the award-winning talents of local dancers and members of the community.
Alexsandra Plaza and Damian Zielinski are North American professional Latin dance finalists who will perform the Cha Cha, Rumba and Jive. Sarah Taylor and Keith Childerhose, winners of a Wedding Saviours promotion, will perform their wedding dance.
Food and beverage samples will be supplied by Honey West Restaurant & Bar, Amaya Restaurant, The Queen’s Head and Sweetness Bakery, Peninsula Ridge Estates Winery and Nickel Brook Brewery. For tickets or more information, call 905-633-8808 or email [email protected].
