Meet Gaya & Slava — a young Latin dance couple stepping onto the Brant Inn stage for the very first time. 🌟
💃🕺 Dancing together for only one year, they are already the 2025 Canadian National Latin Junior Vice Champions 🏆.
🌍 Slava, who came to Canada from Ukraine three years ago, found hope and belonging through dance.
🔥 Their favourite? The Cha Cha — playful, powerful, and full of rhythm.This fall, Gaya & Slava are also preparing to represent Canada at the World Championships in the Netherlands — carrying their passion, energy, and artistry onto the international stage. 🌍✨
They are guided by their lead coach, Tatiana Vainer as well as Pavel & Veronika, the reigning Canadian Amateur Latin Champions — who themselves were presented by Robert & Beverley of danceScape at the 2024 Evening at the Brant Inn.
Now in 2025, Robert & Beverley — former Canadian & North American Ballroom Champions — are proud to present Gaya & Slava, continuing their tradition of showcasing emerging stars and carrying forward the Brant Inn’s legacy of celebrating dance excellence.
