Celebrate Burlington’s iconic entertainment venue during the 1940s, ‘50s, and ‘60s at Joseph Brant Museum. The Brant Inn was once host to some of the most famous entertainers in the world.
Come dressed to the nines and join us at the newly renovated Joseph Brant Museum for “An Evening at the Brant Inn” on Saturday, May 28, from 7:00-11:00 pm. Transport yourself into our past when some of the most famous entertainers in the world visited Burlington: Benny Goodman, Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington, Nat King Cole Trio, Andy Williams, Glenn Miller, Guy Lombardo, Count Basie, Xavier Cugat, Les Brown, Woody Herman, Lawrence Welk, Fats Waller, Lena Horne, Victor Borge, Andy Williams, Liberace, Stan Kenton, Jayne Mansfield, Patti Page, Martha Raye, Sophie Tucker, The Ink Spots and more!
Guests will enjoy an elegant night filled with hors d’oeuvres, drinks, dance lessons, and dancing to LIve Music with the Smooth Blend Jazz Band. Guests will be able to admire a view of the lake while enjoying dance lessons from danceScape’s Robert Tang & Beverley Cayton-Tang with Swing/Jive at 7:30 pm and Mambo at 9:15 p.m. Then enjoy dessert from the “Sky Club” on Joseph Brant Museum’s rooftop terrace. #shallwedance?
