As 3-time Canadian and 2-time North American Ballroom Champions, they represented Canada at five World Championships, before turning their passion into a lifelong mission: to help people gain confidence, connection, and health through dance.

💫 The Moment It All Began…

Beverley, a young girl growing up in Bury, Manchester (England), was only 8 when she first saw the World Ballroom Champion Bobbie Irvine sweep by in a feathered ballgown. When the gown’s soft feathers brushed her cheeks, she knew: “One day, I’ll wear a dress just like that.”

Years later, Robert was attending his parents’ first ballroom competition when he turned to find a girl in a shimmering turquoise Swarovski gown—Beverley. It was love at first sparkle.

They fell in love with dance, then with each other. And after successful corporate careers, they leapt into the life of Creativepreneurs, launching danceScape in 2000 in downtown Burlington.
