After more than 26 years of bringing people together through dance, Beverley and I are excited to introduce something new at danceScape!
The Loft at danceScape is a curated marketplace where we can share products, services and brands we’ve discovered, enjoyed and believe others might love too.
Located upstairs at our downtown Burlington studio, The Loft will feature special finds, personal fittings, product demonstrations and occasional pop-up experiences.
We’re starting by making room for what’s next — with clearance specials on selected dance shoes, dancewear, T-shirts, music, instructional DVDs and more.
And just in time for the Holiday Season, we’re delighted to introduce our first featured brand!
Discover Shapeez — Comfort, Confidence & Innovation
We’ve invited Suzanne from Shapeez to introduce a collection of innovative bras and shapewear designed to help women feel comfortable, supported and confident.
What caught our attention was the story behind Shapeez.
Co-founder Staci Berner was frustrated with traditional bras that didn’t provide the comfort and smooth silhouette she wanted. Rather than settle, she began experimenting with her own designs — starting with an old bra, stretch fabric and a sewing machine.
That simple beginning grew into Shapeez, a business built around solving an everyday problem through creativity and thoughtful design.
It’s the kind of entrepreneurial spirit we love celebrating!

Shopping with Purpose
The Loft is also about creating opportunities for others.
A portion of proceeds from selected sales will support danceScape community programs and initiatives, including our emerging danceScape Opportunities Fund.
Through scholarships, teacher and facilitator development, creative leadership mentorship and accessible dance and wellness programs, we hope to help more people discover, learn, create and participate.
It’s another way of extending the danceScape spirit beyond the dance floor.
