A Fun & Interactive Homeschool Movement Experience in downtown Burlington
Looking for a fun, active, and creative homeschool field trip experience for your child?
Join us at danceScape for a welcoming movement-based adventure where children can explore music, rhythm, creativity, confidence, coordination, and mindful movement in a positive and encouraging environment.
Designed especially for homeschool children ages 5–8/9, this special introductory experience combines playful movement, rhythm games, beginner dance-inspired activities, and gentle mindfulness-based exercises that encourage creativity, social connection, and self-expression.
No dance experience is required.
What Children Will Experience
Children may explore:
- Music & rhythm activities
- Creative movement games
- Beginner Ballroom, Salsa/Latin and/or Hip Hop-inspired movement
- Coordination and balance exercises
- Mindful movement inspired by qigong/taichi
- Confidence-building group interaction
- Fun multicultural music and movement exploration
Our goal is to create a beginner-friendly, inclusive, non-competitive atmosphere where children feel comfortable moving, learning, and having fun.

(HST included. danceScape’s regular public drop-in rate is $30 per person; however, this special homeschool experience is being offered at a discounted community rate through the danceScape Endowment Fund outreach initiatives.)
Parents are welcome to participate alongside their child during this special introductory experience at no additional cost, or may simply observe.
