Return & Refund Policies

Payment Methods

Registration and payment must be received in advance to guarantee spot.  Payment options include:  Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), Cheque, Cash, or Debit (in person only).  Please note that all prices listed for danceScape group, semi-private, and private lesson workshops are in Canadian Dollars. 

Refunds for Dance Lessons
Please note that there are no refunds once group, semi-private, or private lessons are booked, or gift certificates purchased.  At the discretion of the management, credit may be given toward future sessions in special circumstances.

Group and Semi-Private Workshop Missed Classes
Discounted package rates are available for group and semi-private workshop programs, with schedules posted on our website at www.dancescape.com as well as in our information pamphlets. 

Each workshop is approximately 45 minutes in length, with some semi-supervised practice time available immediately after the formal lesson.  Please note that there may be multiple instructors and lessons on the dance floor at any time. A different instructor may be assigned based on dance styles or availability. 

For clients who miss or are unable to attend any scheduled group or semi-private classes, please note that there are no make-up classes.  In addition, clients will not receive credit for missed classes.   

Clients may transfer their registration to another person for the same program set at no charge, providing there are spots available.

Lesson Cancellation, Rescheduling Notice, & Structure
For private and semi-private lessons, a minimum of 24 hours’ notice is needed to cancel or re-schedule without charge.  Otherwise, the "pay-as-you-go" or discounted package rate will apply, whichever was booked for that time. 

Each private lesson is approximately 55 minutes in length.  Please note that there may be multiple instructors and lessons on the dance floor at any time; a surcharge will apply if a student desires exclusive use of the dance floor. 

A different instructor may be assigned based on dance styles or availability. 

Lessons may be rescheduled with advance notice from danceScape, and may take place in either the Main Ballroom, upstairs Studio Room, or the downstairs Club Room.

Returned Cheques
Returned cheques are subject to a $20 NSF fee.

Liability Waiver
As with other recreational sports and physical activities, there is always the potential for injury.  All clients must sign our standard Liability Waiver prior to the start of their first group, semi-private, or private lesson package.

Other

• Observers are only permitted at danceScape Open Houses (please see our Event Schedule for upcoming dates and times), but not during any formal group, semi-private or private lessons.
• Video recording is prohibited, unless authorized by danceScape management.
• Cell phones must be placed on silent, vibrate or off while classes are in session.
• Please dispose of all trash and materials in the appropriate receptacles.
• Please note that danceScape is not responsible for lost or stolen property.
