ROMANTIC VALENTINE'S DAY WEDDING PROPOSAL AT danceScape!
Congratulations to Matt and Sarah-Jane who are now engaged! On Valentine's Day, Matt took Sarah-Jane out for dinner, and then surprised her with a fun dance lesson with danceScape instructor, Jessica Smyth. Jessica taught them the Rumba, a sensual dance that originated in Cuba. Shortly after their lesson, Matt requested that they be alone ... whereupon, he dropped down to one knee (he's 6 feet 11 inches tall!) and asked Sarah-Jane to marry him. With tears in her eyes, Sarah-Jane joyfully accepted. Please join us in congratulating this wonderful couple! Matt, you're an inspiration to all the other men out there!
SOLD OUT WINTER SESSIONS
danceScape's "For Absolute Beginners Only" Ballroom and Club Dancing Winter programs were SOLD OUT! Because of overwhelming response, a new 9:00 p.m. Ballroom session was added. Please mark you calendar for our next PRACTICE PARTY for all graduates, alumni, and their invited friends on Thursday, April 9th -- the last Practice Party was also SOLD OUT, so please reserve your tickets as early as possible. There will be student demonstrations, door prizes, and other fun surprises! Portion of ticket sales will go towards the danceScape Endowment Fund, in support of Breast Cancer Support services.
