danceScape

danceScape was founded by Robert Tang and Beverley Cayton-Tang, former 3-time Canadian and 2-time North American Undefeated Amateur Ballroom Champions. The Tangs have made guest appearances as Dance lifestyle experts on CBC Television, VIVA Television, W-Network, Slice, Discovery Health USA, and HGTV. They have appeared on CBC Television's "Fortune Hunters" and "Dragons' Den".

danceScape is a leading provider of dance-based “Healthy Living” recreational programs for the Inspiration Seeker.  Our programs provide inspiration to customers in their quest for fun recreation, fitness, or romance activities.  Our mission is to inspire, empower, and connect people who have a passion for living Life to the fullest.  We create Life-Changing experiences that result in personal growth, health & wellness, and entrepreneurial success for our worldwide members.

danceScape's core learning programs include its "For Absolute Beginners" series which focuses on Ballroom, Latin and Salsa Dancing, as well as "danceTONE", a trim-and-tone program for women only, incorporating Salsa, Merengue, Cha Cha and other dance steps. 

danceScape has launched its Associate Teacher Training program, which is dedicated to mentoring entrepreneurial Creative Artists to achieve financial independence through their passion.

danceScape was profiled on "Fortune Hunters", a business show on CBC Newsworld which explored new and emerging companies in hot industries. The company was also featured on CBC Television's hit business show, "Dragon's Den". danceScape's websites, www.dancescape.com and www.dancescape.TV, have been featured in such publications as Time Magazine, Smart Computing Magazine, and the Globe and Mail. 
 
danceScape's "For Absolute Beginners Only Ballroom Dancing" 2-DVD instructional video set is currently being sold in the US through retailers such as Best Buy USA, Barnes & Noble, and Amazon.com.  In Canada, the video is available through the Dragon's Den Shopping site, at www.shopdragonsden.com. Portion of proceeds go towards the danceScape Endowment Fund, dedicated to to enriching the quality of life of People through Arts & Culture, Recreation, and Movement-Based Health & Wellness Activities.

Prior to founding danceScape, Robert was the Corporate Marketing-Communications Manager for a leading international software company with headquarters in Burlington and Boston. He has an MBA in Marketing from the Schulich School of Business in Toronto, and B.Sc. in Mathematics from McMaster University in Hamilton. Beverley was the Interlibrary Loans Manager and Systems Software Trainer for public libraries in Southern Ontario. She has an Information & Technology degree from Sheridan College.
